My name is Brett Roberts, and I have nearly 50 years of experience playing drums and percussion. I regularly perform live and contribute to recording studio projects. I intentionally avoid labeling the style of music I play, as I’m a musician who enjoys and adapts to all genres. This versatile approach carries over into my work in the recording studio, where I focus on maximizing performance and achieving the goals of each project.

 

I specialize in motivating drummers and percussionists facing physical challenges. At age 24, a significant injury led to the need for a prosthetic to replace most of the bones in my right wrist. This life-changing experience taught me to adapt my technique, including developing alternative ways to hold drumsticks while continuing to do what I’ve loved since age 5.

 

My mantra is simple: never give up, push forward, and let’s roll!
