Don't be a drummer with a label. As a matter of fact, don't be a musician with a label.

Hello everybody. I hope all is well. I want to share a tip with you and a way to get more playing opportunities. Be it studio or live performance, this tip will help you. One of the best things you can do is don't get a label. What does this mean, you ask? Well, it means that you're not a jazz drummer, a rock drummer, a marching band drummer, etc. It means you're a drummer with no label. You are prepared to do whatever music you're asked to do, whether it's in a studio or live performance. You're a drummer! This mindset and preparation will help you get work and a variety of playing options. This concept applies to all musicians, too. I hope this helps you achieve the success you are looking for. Stop by my guestbook and say hello. Thank you. Keep playing and let's roll.
